LORD said 'You have raised the bar now'.

After making various posts on our other blog etc. [1] I was in the kitchen making a hot lemon drink. While making the hot drink, the LORD said 'You have raised the bar now'. He did not say what I had done specifically to do that. However, he sounded satisfied, was giving recognition, his voice was very confirming and strong. It sounded like he was saying that I had raised the bar for others.

So what does his words mean?

As the last post was about horses, it can mean to raise the standard, like raising the bar that the horse must jump over. When competing in a championship or training, the horse and rider has to clear the bar without knocking the bar down. In other words an action that takes place that raises standards and does not lower them.

Another analogy would be the high jump competition at the Olympics, when the bar is raised. Some say it is a standard that remains unchanged, until a different person can raise the standard that is already high. Like breaking a world record. Its about quality, excellence, success, exceeding what already exists.

Whitney Houston is an example of a person that raised the standard for others with her vocal range. So it can also apply to versatility and flexibility as well. Going beyond what is currently available, by providing a new and improved standard of measure.

A person that raises the bar is at an unsurpassed level. However, the trainer and coach still mentors the people to reach up to it, by assisting them to have the courage to do so. To ensure that they reach their full potential and capacity in both depth and breadth. If people are not stretched, if they do not try, if they do not persevere, then how can they ever know the fulness of themselves and what they are capable of?

You can all excel at what you do best. You all have unique talents and gifts, the key is to be able to access them, and bring them into full bloom like a Lotus flower opening.

The bar has been raised, the standard is high. Now it is up to humanity to ascend to it. As the LORD said back in 2007. 'You have the lever to get them out of the mire'.
